Micro-frontend
In the examples of the Backend For Frontend pattern in Chapter 4, Boundary Patterns, we discussed the concept of the micro-frontend. The objective of the micro-frontend architecture is to avoid creating a monolithic frontend and enjoy the benefits of independently deployable frontend components. One of the examples was an e-commerce site where the checkout feature is one of several completely separate micro-frontend applications that work together to provide a complete user experience.
