So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Implementing CD and DevOps is not cheap. There's quite a lot of effort required, which directly translates into cost. Every business likes to see a return on investment, so there is no reason why you should not provide this sort of information and data. For the majority of this chapter, we've been focusing on the more in-depth, technical side of measuring progress and success. This is very valuable to technical-minded individuals, but your average middle manager might not get the subtleties of what it means, and to be honest, you can't really blame them.
