Case Study: ClimatePartner

For our next case study, Ilias Bartolini will describe continuous deployment at Climate Partner. Ilias is a team lead working across two teams in the Emission Reductions and Authorization & Identity Management domains. His role is a combination of people management, technical leadership, and delivery support.

ClimatePartner’s Context

ClimatePartner supports companies on their journey toward net zero. For around 20 years, the organization has been developing solutions that enable its clients to make voluntary climate action commitments combining software, consulting, and reduction solutions. ClimatePartner’s industry-specific solutions cover the entire process, from calculating carbon footprints to setting reduction targets and implementing reduction measures. ClimatePartner also supports companies in financing global and regional climate projects and providing detailed and transparent communication on their climate action commitments. This includes labeling solutions that confirm the comprehensive and strategic approach of a company’s voluntary climate action measures.

With around 500 employees in 12 offices, ClimatePartner supports more than 6,000 clients from over 60 countries. We have a product engineering department of approximately 50 people in six teams divided across three different locations.
