I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Visuelles Gewicht verstehen
Jedes Bildelement übt eine bestimmte Zugkraft auf den Blick des Betrachters aus. Unser Blick, und damit meine ich eigentlich eher die Aufmerksamkeit unseres Gehirns, wird von manchen Dingen stärker angezogen als von anderen. Elemente, die den Blick auf sich ziehen, haben ein sogenanntes visuelles Gewicht. Dieses Konzept zu begreifen und damit zu spielen, ist der Grundstein für fast jeden weiteren Gedanken zur Bildkomposition. Sie können zum Beispiel nicht über Gleichgewicht sprechen, ohne die visuellen Zugkräfte der einzelnen Bildelemente miteinander ins Verhältnis zu setzen. Von allen Konzepten, mit denen ich mich in der Fotografie beschäftigt habe, hatte dieses auf mich den größten Einfluss.
