So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Niemand mag Stative ... nicht einmal Fotografen, die das behaupten. Und Stative sind auch nicht für jeden geeignet. Ein Straßenfotograf, der stark auf Spontaneität und zufällige Entdeckungen angewiesen ist, wird wohl als Letzter ein Stativ brauchen. Aber auch, wenn Sie bald nur noch mit Ihrer Leica und Ihrem Ennui durch die Straßen von Paris streichen, sollten Sie unbedingt trotzdem den Umgang mit dem Stativ erlernen. Sie werden es als wertvollen Bestandteil Ihres Repertoires schätzen lernen. Das Stativ eröffnet Möglichkeiten, die Sie ohne es nicht haben werden. Selbst für meine Straßenfotografie habe ich schon ein Stativ verwendet. Ich bin bereits mehrmals um die Welt gereist und fast immer hatte ich ein Stativ ...
