When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preface
A while back there was a cartoon going around that showed different perspectives of an airplane. From an armaments perspective the plane had heavy armor all over it. From a weaponry perspective the plane had cannon and rockets everywhere. From a bombing perspective the plane was armed with all sorts of bombs. From a pilots perspective the plane was sleek and highly maneuverable. From an engineer’s perspective the plane had all sorts of widgets and knobs and gizmos.
The problem with each of these perspectives was that they were completely different and at odds with each other. At the end of the day the airplane was a compromise of each perspective. None of these perspectives was optimized at the expense of the others’ in the actual ...
