I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Um herauszufinden, in welchem Ausmaß Miningmodelle vertrauenswürdig sind, müssen diese validiert werden. Von einer Validierung mit den Testdaten ist abzuraten, da hierbei gute Ergebnisse vorprogrammiert sind. Bei einer Validierung nach der Holdout-Methode werden die Erfahrungswerte in eine Trainingsmenge sowie in eine Testmenge geteilt. Der Nachteil, dass hierbei nicht alle Daten zum Trainieren verwendet werden können, wird durch die Kreuzvalidierung kompensiert. Diese sieht vor, dass die Erfahrungswerte in verschiedene gleich große Teile geteilt werden, wobei ein Teil zum Testen und die anderen Teile zum Trainieren verwendet werden.
