So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
PPP over Ethernet Architecture (PPPoE)
In the current world of access technologies, it is highly desirable to connect multiple hosts at a remote site through the same customer premises access device. It is also essential to provide access control and billing functionality in a manner similar to dialup services by using PPP. In many access technologies, the most cost-effective method to attach multiple hosts to the customer premises access device is through Ethernet. In addition, keeping the cost of this device as low as possible while requiring little or no configuration is desirable.
