I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Case Study 3: Very Large Wholesale SP
Requirements: All the basic requirements match Case Study 2 by using PPPoX-L2TP architecture, with the following modifications:
Number of Subscribers— The architecture must scale to support one million subscribers with the assumption of two sessions per VC, which amounts to two million sessions.
Effective Throughput— The effective throughput per subscriber, at a minimum, needs to be 384 kbps, with the capability to increase to 1 Mbps.
Existing Deployment— The DSL wholesaler is already equipped with a PPPoX-L2TP architecture by using centralized aggregation. The architecture uses PPPoE as encapsulations and has a minimum of two sessions per single VC; the subscriber base is strictly residential. no plan ...
