When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Service Provisioning
Quite a few service providers might have more than one million DSL lines installed a year. This can not be possible without an effective subscriber and service-provisioning model. If a service technician needs to be dispatched to a residence to install CPE and turn on the DSL connection, he will spend a little more than an hour working on the installation. In order for an ISP to serve more than a million subscribers, the ISP can not afford to spend so many man-hours and the resulting high cost in just turning up a connection. In order to turn up a subscriber base of such a high magnitude, an ISP needs to turn up a subscriber every three seconds, a DSLAM every thirty minutes, and an LAC every week based on some research as ...
