I was commissioned to do this painting for a video game in order to generate an idea of what a specific location may look like. The parameters that I was given were that it needed to be an old, run down pump station, with an 18th–19th century feel to it. In the center of the room there would be a futuristic machine that the player must use as an energy device at a specific point in the story.
