I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

5.2.2 Digital Video Storage Requirements and DVR Storage Design
Richer video content requires higher capacity storage as well as faster data rates. For
instance, a standard defi nition video requires about 1.25 GB per hour of storage while
an HD video requires about 8.3 GB per hour. Thus a 500 GB disk drive can hold about
400 hours of standard defi nition and only 60 hours of HD content. An HD recorder then
requires access to larger data storage. This requires the use of larger capacity hard disk
