8.7 Projections for Home Network Storage
As shown in Figure 8.2, in 2007 homes typically have at least three different
communication networks that are more or less isolated from one another. These can
include a computer network, a cell phone or two connected to a cell phone network, and
an entertainment network (cable or satellite).
By 2017 these isolated networks should collapse into a single network that is easy to
