Testing the MDB
To test the MDB with the servlet client, start the EjbbankServer and wait until the server is ready.
Note
We did install the embedded messaging component (WebSphere MQ) of Application Developer. However, the sample should work as well without WebSphere MQ; the built-in JMS server (MQ Simulator) provides a subset of the function that is enough for this example.
Running the servlet
Select the MdbTester servlet in the ItsoBank5Web project and Run on Server (context). A sample output is shown in Figure 16-18.
