Managing deployment descriptors with Application Developer
With Version 5 of the Application Developer, you can manage the deployment descriptors of EJB modules, Web modules, and application client modules. By specifying all the deployment aspects of an enterprise application in the Application Developer, you can bypass the Application Assembly Tool and install an enterprise application with little effort; all the deployment steps are seamlessly built into the development tool.
