Conflict is the perfect ground for emotions to grow and prosper. Emotional outbreaks in conflicts tend to fuel them in turn. It is easy to see emotions as troublemakers in a conflict. However, they can also be the keys for a way out that is satisfying for all parties.

There are many resources on how to find a way out of conflicts. Some are really helpful, like Edward de Bono’s Conflicts: A New Way to Solve Them. At the same time, most of them don’t insist enough on the emotional dimension of conflict. Conflicts are breeding grounds for emotions.
