When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Cloud Computing
The “cloud” was originally a metaphor for the internet, and many network diagrams represented the internet with a symbol of a cloud.
As internet services advanced, the cloud became a set of hardware devices including data servers and application servers that provide services such as email, apps and disc storage for documents, music and photos.
These cloud services include the delivery of software and remote storage space having as little as possible stored on the user’s machines.
If you have an account with a web-based e-mail service like Hotmail or Gmail, then you’ve had some experience with the cloud. Instead of running an e-mail program on your computer, you log into a web e-mail account remotely.
