I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Phishing
Pronounced ‘fishing’, this social engineering technique is designed to trick a user into handing over confidential information. Many phishing scams come via an email or phone call, that appear to originate from a legitimate source such as a bank, the police, IRS (HMRC), or a well known company. Here’s an example.
The email appears genuine and is designed to scare you, but notice the links have been spoofed.
Following the link will take you to a fake website that looks exactly like the real thing, but notice the URL is fake...
