Although companies print and mail the annual report to owners and the SEC, much of the financial statement information is available at various financial Web sites. The SEC has a site named EDGAR (for the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system) that provides free access to the reports (http://www.sec.gov/edgar.shtml). An online tutorial at that site helps new viewers find a company and its financial statements.
