The conversation with Sylvia took place at her farmhouse, where she lives with her husband and son, on the edge of a lake at Leksand, a town two-and-a-half hours by train north of Stockholm. Sylvia worked with Ingmar Bergman on more than a dozen projects: TV dramas, documentaries, and some of his greatest masterpieces, including Fanny and Alexander.
