I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I originally met with Mick in his edit suite in London’s Soho when he was cutting a film directed by Mike Newell. His long and distinguished career has included significant collaborations with Stephen Frears and Terry Gilliam.
MA: I was born in Rochester in Kent, and grew up in Sevenoaks, my father was a wonderful furniture designer and maker. I’m the youngest of three—an elder sister and brother neither of whom have had anything to do with film-making.
