When you get your Fez Starter kit, you will find lots of little bags containing all the various components supplied with the kit. Spend some time taking each one out and figuring out what it is.
The contents of the kit may change as new versions are produced, you will need the parts outlined in Table 1-1 to build the projects in this book.

Some parts, like the LCD Display, are easy to identify while some, like “the extender,” are less obvious. If you look closely, they all have a label printed on them. Most of the modules have a single connector on them that will be attached to a lead that then plugs into one of the connectors on the Mainboard. Some of the components, like the display, have more than one connector.
We will use all of these components in the projects contained in this book.
