So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

BILLS
This appendix provides a detailed list of five representative bills processed by the VOTE program. Most of the bills in the database were taken from The Almanac of American Politics [Barone et al., 1979, Barone and Ujifusa, 1983, Barone and Ujifusa, 1985, Barone and Ujifusa, 1987] which records votes on selected important and representative bills for each member of Congress. Thus, we were able to use these bills to construct a voting record for most of the members of Congress entered in the MEMBER database. Other bills were added for test purposes. These were either recent bills, such as child care legislation, or fictional bills, such as an imagined vote on articles of impeachment of President Nixon.
