So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Let's do an ever-so-brief review of the top 10 things we've learned about Group Policy Preference Extensions:
Management Station Installation: You need a management station that has the Group Policy Preference Extensions loaded. They're built into Windows Server 2008 and available via the RSAT tools for Windows Vista SP1.
Management Station Installation (part 2): The Applications extension pieces must be downloaded and installed separately on your management station. If you don't install the Applications extension pieces, you won't be able to control items like Office and Outlook. It's a legal thing.
