I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Python on steroids with parallel GPU
To fully exploit the potential of some ML libraries, and especially DL, it is necessary to deploy dedicated hardware that includes the use of graphics processing units (GPUs) in addition to traditional CPUs. As current GPUs are, in fact, optimized to perform parallel calculations, this feature is very useful for the effective execution of many DL algorithms.
Reference hardware equipment could be the following:
- CPU Intel Core i5 6th Generation or higher (or AMD equivalent)
- 8 GB RAM as a minimum (16 GB or higher is recommended)
- GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or higher (visit https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus for more info)
- Linux operating system (for example Ubuntu) or Microsoft Windows 10
