What is a botnet?
The term botnet comes from the juxtaposition of the words bot and net. In the case of the term net, we evidently have to deal with the concept of networking; in the case of the term bot, we have to spend a few more words.
The term bot is, in fact, increasingly associated with the spread of automated agents within cyberspace.
