NLP steps
The phases that characterize NPL are as follows:
- Identification of the words (tokens) constituting the language
- Analysis of the structure of the text
- Identification of the relationships between words (in paragraphs, sentences, and so on)
- Semantic analysis of the text
One of the best known Python libraries for NLP is the Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK), often used for spam detection.
In the following example, we will see how to take advantage of NLTK combined with Naive Bayes to create a spam detector.
