It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Binding
The binding is used to connect queues to exchanges. There are certain standard headers called routing key headers, and they are used by the broker to match messages to queues. Each queue has a specific binding key and if that key matches the value of the routing key header, the queue receives the message.
