In this section, we are going to take a look at using the command prompt to clear logs on a Windows operating system:
Previously, we used the wevtutil el command on the Windows command prompt to view a list of log types/categories. We can use wevtutil cl followed by a specific log to wipe/clear the entries within the log category:
