THE FOURTH TRUTH
It was a perfect day to watch a football game. Bright sun shone down from a clear blue sky, and the air was crisp and cool. The glare of the sun temporarily blinded Julie as she came out of the tunnel and into the packed stands of the stadium. Shielding her eyes, she looked up at the stands and caught sight of her father, Paul, standing and waving at her. She headed up the steps to meet him.
Paul was a tall, lean man in his mid-60s. An attorney by trade, he had exchanged his courtroom suit for a sweater and a leather jacket, and his short black hair was covered by a red-and-white-striped hat topped with a pom-pom.
