I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Var. File source node
The Var. File source node reads data from a delimited (free-field) text file. In the following example, we will read a comma-delimited data file with field names in the first row. The file contains demographic information such as Age, Education, Marital_status, and so on. We will read this file into Modeler using the Var. File source node.
If the stream canvas is not empty, clear the stream canvas by doing the following:
- Click the Edit menu, then select Clear stream.
- Select the Sources palette.
- Double-click on the Var. File node (this node should now be on the canvas).
