I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Conduct a gap analysis
Now that you have developed a design for your disaster recovery approach, it is time to perform a gap analysis against what you have designed and what is already in place.
If you designed a backup and recovery strategy that can be accomplished with already existing enterprise tools, then you do not have to add new capabilities to your network.
However, if your disaster recovery design includes a new data center including replication of data and information systems and that does not currently exist, that would be a gap.
