Growing up in Dallas, I thought the world was a really big place. I was wrong.

Telecommunications, computer networks, the World Wide Web, and commercial jets bring the world to me every hour of every day. As a university professor and a consultant to business, my work has taken me to parts of the world I never dreamed of seeing. I count myself fortunate.
