I.3.8 SAN Storage Checklist

SAN Storage Tasks Pass/Fail Date

For UNIX Servers:

Run “grab” script.

For Windows Servers:

Run “reporter” script.

For All Servers:

Verify that the server is using drivers and software on

the most current SAN Standard Software List.

Verify that the server is connected to two separate

SAN switches.

Verify that the SAN Patch Panel spreadsheet matches

server name, switch port, and worldwide part name

(WWPN).

Verify that the server is properly zoned into

appropriate storage device.

Verify that the Volume Manger is installed and

recognizes all devices presented to server ...
