So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This chapter will provide an overview of the Eclipse MicroProfile project, covering its goals, the expectations of its outcome, when it should be used, and the benefits of using it to develop our application. This chapter is only an overview and we will not explore how to implement applications using the MicroProfile project.
