We have two possibilities for decomposing an application—Either there is a monolithic application and we want to decompose it into microservices, or the application does not exist and we want to use the microservices strategy to create it.
In the case of existing monolithic applications, it is always possible to establish an intermediate stage, starting with a monolithic system to create a hybrid architecture, for example. At this intermediate stage, there may not be an immediate need or sufficient time to change the entire monolithic application and replace it with another one based on microservices architecture. For example, we have the critical issue of the single database.
