Nachdem wir nun AIPB und die Erstellung einer KI-Vision im Detail behandelt haben, wollen wir nun eine AIPB-KI-Vision anhand eines hypothetischen Beispiels erstellen.
Unser KI-Vision-Beispiel wurde von Grant Achatz inspiriert, einem renommierten Koch und Gastronomen, der für sein Restaurant Alinea in Chicago bekannt ist. Laut der Liste der 50 besten Restaurants der Welt des Restaurant Magazins wurde das Alinea zum zweitbesten Restaurant der Vereinigten Staaten und zum siebtbesten der Welt gekürt. Außerdem wurde das Alinea zum Zeitpunkt der Veröffentlichung dieses Buches acht Jahre in Folge mit drei Michelin-Sternen ausgezeichnet!
Unglücklicherweise wurde bei Herrn Achatz im jungen Alter von 33 Jahren Zungenkrebs im Stadium 4b diagnostiziert. Obwohl die meisten Onkologieexperten Achatz sagten, dass die einzige Behandlungsmöglichkeit darin bestünde, 75 % seiner Zunge zu entfernen und damit seinen Geschmackssinn für immer zu zerstören, schlug ein anderer Onkologe der University of Chicago Medicine namens Everett Vokes eine innovative Behandlungsmöglichkeit vor. Sein Plan zielte darauf ab, Achatz' Zunge und Geschmacksknospen mit einer gezielten Chemotherapie und Bestrahlung zu retten, was sich als erfolgreich erwies, auch wenn es zu einem vorübergehenden Verlust seines Geschmackssinns führte.
