Getting ready

For this recipe, we are going to need the following:

  • A Linux host with libvirt installed and the daemon running.
  • The iptables and iproute2 packages installed on the host OS. If you installed libvirt from a package, chances are that iptables and iproute2 have been installed, as dependencies of the libvirt package. If you've built libvirt from source, you might need to install them manually.
  • A running KVM instances.
