For the sensors to work, they need to be as close to the ground as possible, without actually touching it. To get this length for your robot, you will need to combine a few of the 2.5 m standoffs to reach from the bottom of the chassis, so the bottom of the sensor ends up about 5 mm from the floor (the bottom of the wheels). We are going to build the assembly shown in the following diagram:
