I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using variables and named parameters
If the inner transformation has named parameters, you can provide values for them in the Parameters tab of the Transformation Executor step. For each named parameter, you can assign the value of a field, or a fixed-static-value. Even more, when you run this Transformation for a single row of data, it's not mandatory to get the data with a Get rows from result step. You can pass the fields as variables or named parameters if that suits best to your Transformation.
In case you execute the Transformation for a group of rows instead of a single one, the parameters will take the values from the first row of data sent to the Transformation.
