I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

RESEARCH AND INSPIRATION
Once you have your world and backstory figured
out, it’s a good idea to do some research and
gather images for inspiration. With an original
character, you’ll need to invent every detail on
the costume, so it’s helpful to have reference
materials on hand while designing. For an
existing fantasy world, your research might
involve rewatching the film and taking notes or
sketching out the details you want to borrow
for your design. For a fantasy world of your own
creation, you may want to borrow elements from
other fantasy worlds and blend them together ...
