character has an element of mystery in the story.

The director of the film wanted the character

to feel like an underdog within the world, so I

decided to make the suit look bulky and heavy,

instead of form-fitting and ready for action. I

referenced old diving suits and anime mecha

character designs for ideas on how to bulk out

the suit with details that would look functional.
