Human capital analytics offers HR teams an important opportunity to show value by converting data to money, and in turn gaining appreciation, particularly from executives and operating managers. Some measures, such as quality, time, and productivity, are easily converted to money. Others, such as company image, reputation, job satisfaction, engagement, stress, and teamwork, prove more difficult. And sometimes, “show me the money” isn’t the right approach, especially when certain benefits should be reported as intangibles.
