Tier III: Presentation
As the most visible means of distinguishing itself from competitors, the Presentation tier is a critical element of the interface for a company like Ofoto. With companies such as Shutterfly and Snapfish offering similar functionality and pricing, it is far more economical for Ofoto to emphasize the Presentation tier than to engage in a hard-fought feature or price war.
Layer 7: Layout
Ofoto’s layout is grounded with a consistent and simple two-column grid. The layout has a fixed width, with the user’s content in a wide column on the left and the low-level navigation in a narrow column on the right.
