It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

APM tools leverage these dimensions to generate meaningful data for the IT support and operations teams. APM techniques are sub-divided into five dimensions of functionality:

- End user experience monitoring
- Component deep-dive monitoring
