In the event of a potential disaster, for example, flood, tornado, and so on, the entire facility where the application is hosted may become inoperable. Business-critical applications should have a plan in place to recover from such disasters within a reasonable amount of time. The solution implementing the various processes must be integrated with the existing enterprise disaster recovery plans. The processes must be analysed to understand the criticality of each process to the business, and the impact of loss to the business in case of non-availability of the process.
