I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Configuring the network
The networking setup for the target nodes must provide communication paths for the following services:
- Management access
- Storage management
- Tenant networks
OpenStack Ansible uses bridges to provide the above communication paths on the target nodes. The tenant networks can be implemented either as VLAN - based segments or using tunneled networks such as VXLAN. The physical link to the bridges can be provided by creating sub-interfaces from a single NIC or multiple bonded interfaces. The management access is provided by the br-mgmt bridge, the storage access is provided over the bridge br-storage, while the tenant networks are provided over the br-vlan and br-vxlan bridges.
