Implementing HA on network nodes
Networking in OpenStack has been empowered within the latest releases of OpenStack to tackle the concern of high availability. As discussed in previous chapters, a recommended design approach is to install the OpenStack network service in a dedicated node. The next challenge represents how to facilitate high availability and network redundancy for Neutron. The OpenStack network service involves the following agent composites:
- L2 agents
- DHCP agent
- L3 agent
