When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Useful development resources
There are several resources that you will want to make sure that you have on hand to develop your MicroPython-based projects. In many instances, these are the same tools that you would want to have whether you are a hobbyist or a professional developer. At a minimum, I would recommend that you purchase or download the following:
- Male to female 6" jumpers (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9140)
- Male to male 6" jumpers (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8431)
- Female to female 6" jumpers (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8430)
- A terminal application such as Tera Term, or PuTTY
- A high-speed micro SD card (if your development board supports one)
I would highly recommend that you also pick-up a logic analyzer ...
