So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 2. What’s New in SQL Server 2008
SQL Server 2005 provided a number of significant new features and enhancements over what was available in SQL Server 2000. This is not too surprising considering there was a five-year gap between these major releases. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 is not as much of a quantum leap forward from SQL Server 2005, but it provides a number of new features and enhancements to further extend the performance, reliability, availability, programmability, and ease of use of SQL Server.
